So... Yeah... Guess I kind of dropped the ball (no pun intended) on blogging every week. But! It's a new year and just like everyone else, the plan is for a new me. This is not to say that the old me is bad, but everyone has to monitor and adjust. 2014 brought good times including graduation from college and I know that 2015 will bring many new changes with it. I am currently living at home and working at Applebee's... It's not exactly a sports media career, but it will do for now.
I am hoping that 2015 will bring a career type job, whether that is in sports, film production or public relations. Searching for jobs has reminded me that things do not always go according to plan. This is especially true in my job applications where I have gone from only sports broadcasting applications to now things such as government public relations and media specialist for giant corporations. However... Whatever the job... When it comes my way I'll know what is right. Until then come find me for spinach artichoke dip. I am hoping the new year will bring health (I like bread and meat too much...) but I am planning to get to the gym and to watch my Coca-Cola consumption.
2015 should not be a year for just the trivial resolutions though. With Marsala as Pantone's 2015 color of the year... that screams "Let's make good things happen"
I plan to be back in Europe in May of this coming year and I hope that you too will do something equally as adventurous. It may not be as big of a thing as traveling overseas, but decide on one thing that you have been too scared to do in the past and just jump in head first and get it done.
My mantra for 2015 is something that came to me in a dream a few nights ago, and although it is not that original it is how I plan to live.
"Pray more. Love more. Live more."
I hope you will do the same and have a joyous and adventurous 2015.
Peace, Love and Joy.
