As I mentioned in my first post... Which you need to read before this one...
I am not much for creative titles, thus the title of this post. I promise they will get better.
I didn't want to make the first post too long, so this will go more in depth to my thoughts. I am starting this blog because I know the best way to get better at writing is to practice... and I'm bored sitting in my apartment.
This weekend I did something that even until last Thursday I never thought I would do. I did commentary for eight high school soccer games at the University of Arkansas. This being that I didn't know anything about soccer and the only soccer game I have ever watched was while I was in Italy in the summer of 2013. It was somewhat of a humbling experience because for the first time in a while it made me actually sit down and learn something completely new. Think about it... For those of you in college, you are simply practicing and refining skills that you have known for years. For those of you who are adults... When was the last time you sat down and learned a new skill??
I know there are more new things in store this summer as I work through my internship at 103.7 The Buzz in Little Rock. Also, with only one more semester left of college... There are many new things headed my way in the next year.
I had other thoughts that I was going to talk about, but I just got distracted by the S'mores Blizzard Dairy Queen commercial... Good thing the closest one is more than an hour away.
